Update: Apr 14, 2021 10:00 AM
Deliveries in Maharashtra are expected to get delayed due to the recently imposed lockdown that starts soon. We are awaiting further clarity on whether e-commerce deliveries would be allowed by the authorities. Stay tuned to this space for further details.
Update: May 20, 2020 4:00 PM
We are now shipping to all zones in India, except containment areas. Kindly except some delays in shipments as the entire logistics network comes back on line after a prolonged lockdown. Dispatches have started with older pending orders being shipped first.
Return pickups are still facing some delays. As per out logistics partners, they should normalise in the next week to ten days. Kindly allow some delays with respect to return pickups.
Update: May 10, 2020 1:00 PM
Good news! We finally have a go ahead to re-start our operations. While the authorities have allowed a limited opening (approval received for only about 10% of total manpower), we shall try our best to start dispatches to Green & Orange zones. It might take us 3 to 4 days to dispatch all pending orders of these two zones as we need to set up health and safety processes for the factory and warehouse first.
Our fingers are crossed for the re-opening of Red Zones once the Phase 3 of lockdowns ends on 17th May. And we shall work extra hard to dispatch orders of these zones asap.
We are indebted to all of our Rustorange Divas for their continued support in these times of crisis. You are awesome!
PS - Return pickups are still going to take some more time. It is expected that once the Phase 3 of lockdowns end, our logistics partners shall start the process of returns again.
Update: May 6, 2020 5:00 PM
The government authorities in Noida have started an approval process for reopening of factories in the district. Our application is already with them and we are awaiting a confirmation to reopen. Once we get the go ahead from government authorities, we should be in a position to start dispatches for Orange and Green zones within 2 working days (post sanitisation of premises and setting up health and hygiene checks). Thank you for your continued support. We shall keep you posted on the developments here.
Update: May 3, 2020 6:00 PM
As per the Ministry of Home Affairs notice of May 1, 2020, e-commerce activities for non-essential items can resume in Green & Orange Zones. Unfortunately, our warehouse located in Noida, comes under a Red zone. At the moment, we are awaiting clarity from the government officials if we can resume dispatches from it. Kindly allow us some more time and we shall update you soon. Once again, thank you for your support in these trying times.
We continue to serve you. We are taking all care and abide by Government restrictions. This might cause certain inconveniences as follows:
- Dispatch and delivery delays:
With a nation-wide lockdown continuing further, dispatches would re-start from 4th May. All your existing and future orders are safe and logged in our systems. There would be no impact on them, except for the dispatch delay.
Some dispatched Orders may also face delays due to restrictions in your regions. We request you to kindly give our logistics partners some flexibility as they try hard to get your orders delivered the moment situation normalises.
- Cash On delivery (COD):
Even after normal resumption of business, for better health and safety, we encourage you to use Prepaid mode for ordering. In case you wish to change your existing COD order to Prepaid please email to our customer care (firstname.lastname@example.org).
- Returns pickups:
As there are restrictions pan India return pickups are not possible till 4th May. However, rest assured that your returns would be picked up when the restrictions are lifted. All orders marked for return would be valid for refunds even if pickup is delayed.
- Customer support:
Our customer support team is fully active via remote working from home and you can connect with them via email and chat for any concerns and queries.
Lastly and most importantly, our hearts go out to everyone affected by COVID-19 in our community. It is our appeal that you allow time for the dispatches and deliveries, and not cancel the orders due to this delay. Our team of small karigars and artisans, including many women, have worked really hard to get your products ready. And your support with continuation of your orders would greatly reduce the economic impact of COVID19 on them. They are counting on us and you.
We will keep you informed with the latest information on our Coronavirus response here and via our social media channels.
